Purchaser Verification and Security

To maintain the safety and integrity of every transaction, purchases made with Watches of Sussex are subject to identity verification. Prior to the confirmation and dispatch of your order:

1. You must provide valid photographic identification and proof of the name on the payment card used for your purchase.
2. Your order is not considered secure or valid until this information has been received, reviewed, and verified by our team.
3. We will contact you to request and facilitate the submission of these documents, ensuring the process is manageable and secure.

Please note that items will only be sold and dispatched once this verification is complete.

Delivery Disclaimer

Given the high value of our luxury timepieces, Watches of Sussex employs meticulous delivery protocols to ensure your purchase arrives safely.

1. All items are shipped exclusively via secure, insured, and tracked delivery services to mitigate risks during transit.
2. Deliveries within the UK are sent using Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1 PM the next day, ensuring swift and secure fulfilment of orders.
3. Depending on the purchaser's location and circumstances, we reserve the right to deliver items in person by hand to provide an additional layer of security.

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the recipient is present at the delivery address during the stated delivery time to receive the item safely. Please note that Watches of Sussex cannot be held liable for failed deliveries or delays caused by the recipient's unavailability.

Returns Policy Disclaimer

Due to the significant value and exclusive nature of our products, Watches of Sussex enforces a strict and detailed returns policy:

1. Returns are accepted solely on a case-by-case basis and must be pre-approved before any process is initiated.
2. The purchaser is liable for the insurance and safe return of the watch in the same condition it was received. Packaging must be secure, and the return shipment must include full tracking and insurance coverage.
3. Extensive photographs are taken of every watch prior to shipping. These images are cross-referenced upon return to validate the condition of the item. Any damage, wear, or alteration to the watch may result in denial of a refund or additional costs being charged.

What to do if you can’t reach an agreement?

First Call Group have 8 weeks to issue you with a final response but may do so sooner. After the final response has been issued, if you are not satisfied with First Call Group’s response to your complaint relating to the finance agreement, you may be able to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service. You must contact them within six months of the date of First Call Group Limited's final response letter to you. This may be in the form of an email, call or letter.

Customer Due Diligence

To safeguard both parties, we strongly recommend that purchasers take the following precautions:

1. Photograph the delivery package upon receipt and digitally record the unboxing. This documentation will act as evidence in any claims or disputes involving the condition of the watch at the time of its arrival.
2. For returns, it is imperative that the item is packed and shipped back using secure, tracked, and fully insured methods.

Data Storage and Retention

We take your privacy and data protection seriously. All personal data collected and processed by Furniture London Ltd is stored securely within the United Kingdom (UK) and/or the European Economic Area (EEA). We do not routinely transfer personal data outside of the UK or EEA.  

In the event that a data transfer outside these regions becomes necessary (for example, due to a third-party service provider’s data hosting arrangements), we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 — such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses approved by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
